HEALTH CARE   REfORM 4 NJa

"Too often seniors and low-income families are crushed by the costs of health care and left with few options because of the crippling costs of medications. No one should go bankrupt because of costs for medication or necessary treatment. Likewise, no doctor should be forced to provide a service that they will not be compensated for." - Matt Riccardi

The Problem: Government healthcare costs have turned out to be worse than private insurance costs. Additionally, we have a system of fraud and corruption that plagues our health care system and diverts valuable resources into the hands of campaign donors and bureaucrats. Low-income and Medicare recipients are receiving substandard care that promotes a program of delayed treatment and emergency room visits.

The Solution: We don't want nor need more government healthcare. Any solution that involves increasing government involvement or takeover of the healthcare industry will only lead to disaster. Instead, New Jersey needs to work on cutting our expensive healthcare costs by reviewing tort laws, insurance regulations, healthcare regulations, and government policies that pass on the high costs of government involvement to employers, employees, and taxpayers. The Riccardi Method of reviewing departments under the control of the Governor will start with a comprehensive inspection of the Department of Health. It will be the first department that will be reviewed to ensure effectivness, efficiency, and best costs.
