"I Don't make Campaign Promises, I make Campaign Guarantees" - Matt Riccardi

WHAT IS THE CONTRACT?

The Contract is not a campaign gimmick or slogan. It is a legally binding contract that compels Matt Riccardi to keep his campaign promises or face a steep penalty. It is written during the campaign and based on what the voters are asking Matt to accomplish if elected. It will be signed and executed upon election.

WHY A CONTRACT?

Because politicians cannot be trusted. Matt's main goal is to restore trust and integrity to the Governor's Office. Unfortunately, politicians continually make promises that they have no intention of keeping. Why? Because they are not held accountable for those promises. So, they tell you what you want to hear and do what they want after elected. The Contract ensures you that Matt will keep his promises. Ask the other candidates if they are willing to sign a contract for the promises that they have made.

"We are committed to restoring honor, integrity, and accountability to government." - The Constitution Party

Besides The Contract, The Constitution Party policy for candidates states that any candidate that fails to keep the promises of their contracts will not be endorsed for political office ever again.

THE CONTRACT

I, Matt Riccardi, in the presence of the witnesses signed below, do hereby contract with the voters of New Jersey that I will fulfill the following obligations that I made to them during my campaign:

1. I will not sign any legislation or approve any program that increases the overall budget of New Jersey.

2. I will not sign any legislation or approve any program that increases the debt for New Jersey.

3. I will veto any piece of legislation that brings a tax increase across every type, besides sales, for New Jersey residents.

4. Within the first six months as Governor, I will start conducting a thorough review of every department under the authority of the Governor, starting with the Department of Health. Each department will be judged on their effectiveness, their efficiency, and their costs to the public (both direct and indirect).

5. I will instruct my Attorney General to shutdown Backpage.com if it does not comply with NJ regulations to stop sex trafficking ads.

6. I will conduct an Independent Audit of the State Government from top to bottom starting with the Executive Branch. Those who abused funds will be subject to expulsion from their positions and Judicial proceedings.

(MORE TO BE ADDED DURING THE CAMPAIGN)

Penalty: If I fail to keep the obligations that I have made above, I hereby declare that I will pay $10,000 to the Democratic Party of New Jersey and $10,000 to the Republican Party of New Jersey.
